Skeets

Skeets is the little robot sidekick of DC hero Booster Gold. He seems to change forms every other issue, so i decided to design my own version of him.

REFLECTIVE ESSAY

REFLECTIVE ESSAY
Pick 3 landscape/cityscape images and analyze how they create the illusion of scale and depth.

I'm bored with those other pictures so I'm using some new ones. the first is quite different from the other two. since it's a street view we see a lot more detail in the building, in this case we see how run down it is. we are given the scale by the figure and his dog in the lower left.
the pictures make use of a similar color palette, (except for the last which is strictly black and white. ) which features browns and golds as the lighter colors with shades of blue for shadows and heavy doses of black. the first uses a two point perspective while the others use size to represent perspective. the second image dose the best in showing foreground, mid-ground, and background. the foreground is in deep shadow and partially uses repoussoir along the right side.

Ok we have pictures

Edit: we have pictures now!
so mostly i've been trying to do better about lighting recently, i did several secret Santas and they had some good lighting effects i'll try to post those later. (they are not on this computer) and then the past two pages for the comic had some good lighting all things considered. but i really shouldn't start about the comic or i'll never stop. i can save that for another post.

anyway I'll add pictures here soon.
