insperation

I've always loved otherworldly tings and landscapes are my specialty. the way some people can figure out how to put the normal next to the strange and make it seem normal, or right is amazing.

not quite dreaming

you know how ideas always seem to turn up at the most random of times like when you're on the verge of sleep, that happened to me last night. two characters that i had completely forgotten about popped into my head. i ended up writing about them until way later then i should have been up. the best part, i still don't even know their names, or if they have names for that matter. for now they are being called the Crocodile king and his friend. the king is about 6 and the friend is about 10 or 11. they're going to star it this years Halloween arc for the closet.

another bit of fiddling with flash

Flash test

this is my first movie fiddling around in flash.

Dave Matthews band

i love good music. Music is one of humanity's greatest creations. i don't understand how so many people can go without it. The Dave Matthews Band are my current favorite. especially a song called funny the way it is, in their newest album, big whiskey and the GrooGrux king. that whole album is good but that song is amazing. it made my short list the first time i heard it.

i guess i never really thought about how music is as inspiring as artwork or anything else.

just stop

all that abstract stuff hurts my brain, not to mention my eyes. way too many colors way too fast. don't get me wrong i love colors i don't like stuff that only a high person could understand.

self portrait
